A NEW TOY, A FLAT TYRE, COBLEY INGENUITY

On driving Dad’s car back from the town centre I heard a starange noise, on pulling over, I discovered a flat back left tyre. Off to Halfords for a compressor, which is digital and very good – super fast, and plugs into the lighter. Tyre filled up, unplugged the compressor and all the air flowed out of the valve – which I reaslised was broken. Plan B, over inflate tyre, then quickly put a cap (had a spare in my car) on the value as the air gushed out, but it worked and held, and I managed to get the car back home. Dad seems to think the valve can be repaired.
